Featured Artist: Brett Swenson

Brett Swenson was born and raised in the North Chicago Suburbs. His work is driven primarily by responding to material experimentation. He incorporates the use of naturally occurring glasses, optical devices and phenomena, and investigations into our relationship with "the natural." The use of glass is a key element in all of Brett's work.

Featured Artist: Celeste Wilson

Celeste was born in Providence, Rhode Island and 18 years later, moved back to her birth city to attend the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Her time at RISD was spent learning about glass and sculpture among many other things. She feels lucky to have received exceptional training in glass blowing, glass casting, mold making and cold working. Her work exists in many different forms including installation, video, performance and objects. Celeste has an affinity for amorphous solids, and hopes to continue to build the alliance between herself and glass.”
